Microgaming has just launched another new game, the third in their Retro Reels series. This game, Retro Reels Extreme Heat, again takes it’s looks and symbols from the classic three reel slots and the reels are ablaze with flaming symbols and a background burning red hot, the effect being further enhanced by the spinning reels. There are 30 pay lines, with a maximum bet of 15 coins per line. Coin values can vary from as little as $0.01 to a maximum of $0.25.
For an enabled pay line to win, five of the same symbols have to appear in the line, from left to right. Five x Seven, Double or Triple Seven will pay out a total of 500 coins, while 5 x Bar, Double and Triple Bar pay out 250. Mixed Sevens or Bars will achieve lower payouts. There are also Bells, Cherries and Lemons. A flaming $ sign represents the wild symbol, and five of it will pay out 10000 coins. The scatter symbol, represented by the symbol for the Bonus Free Spins, will offer scatter payouts multi pliable by the total amount wagered and will be converted to credits if two or more appear anywhere on one or more reels. Three or more scatters will activate a bonus round of Flaming Free Spins, with three scatters giving 10, four giving 15 and five giving 20 free spins. During free spins, every payout will be doubled and it is also possible for extra free spins to be triggered if another three or more scatters appear. Bonus Flaming Free Spins rounds have 440000 coins maximum payout. Another popular feature, the Respin, is also included in this game. For an extra payment, the cost being displayed below each reel together with an individual re spin button, the player has the choice to re spin any reel after the original spin has ended. All other reels remain fixed and there is thus a chance of an additional payout. Only wins involving the re spin reels will be paid out. This option, however, is not available while playing the bonus rounds. It will also be annulled should the player attempt to change the betting options.
